Prompt: In order to add variety to the styles offered for the holiday custom video templates I added the option for a 3D video. This gave clients an option outside of our normal offering of 2D animated videos that would help set them apart when using our video templates.

The Challenge: While I had created another animated 3D video from scratch, this video was far more complicated in terms of environmental effects. Wind turbulence on a flag, procedurally generated wood grain and grass were all new techniques that I was able to experiment with.
